The ERA-Net Net-Biome will finish its contract with the EC by the end of February 2012. The last step of this project will be the organisation of a final event in order to present the results of this joint collaboration and to lay the foundations for the continuation of the network beyond the end of the contract with the European Commission.

This final conference will take place the 15th and 16th of February 2012 in Paris, as well as the “kick-off” meeting proposed between the representatives of the Net-Biome first joint call funded projects and these of the funding bodies, the 14th February. This meeting aims at dealing with some specific issues related to the projects implementation and follow-up.

One of the main results of Net-Biome has been the launching of a First Joint Call, that has provided the opportunity to fund 7 projects with high presence of overseas teams. The representatives of the projects funded by this call are invited to make a short presentation of their projects.
