First day dedicated to intense reflexion on discovery of new viruses, development of diagnostic protocols, and implementation of yam sanitation.

Time passes, three years since the project began !
After Madeira in 2012, Montpellier in 2013, we now meet in Guadeloupe for the final meeting.
We will work from 12 to 17 April 2015, at INRA and CIRAD in Petit-Bourg and Capesterre.

The worpackage on metagenomics is going well !
Most of the samples have been collected, one half sent to Montpellier for dsRNA analysis, the other half stored in the fridge for cDNA synthesis.

The large sampling of yams !
The mission was simple but large: sample 250 varieties of yams in the field in Guadeloupe, to be distributed in 500 plastic bags, then sent to Charlotte for the famous "viral particles" protocol.
